በሳንዲያጎ ከተማ የምትገኝ የማራናታ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ክርስቲያኖች ህብረት በእግዚአብሔር ቃል እውነት እና በሐዋርያት ትምህርት መሰረት ላይ የተመሰረተች ስትሆን አባላቶቿን በንጹህ ቃል እውነት ለማሳደግና በዘመኑ ከሚነሱ የስህተት ትምህርቶች እና አቋሞች ለመጠበቅ የሚከተሉትን የእምነት አቋም በህብረቷ ውስጥ በአባላቶቿ ላይ ተግባራዊ ታደርጋለች።

Maranatha Ethiopian Christian Fellowship Church in San Diego is grounded on the principles of God's truth and the foundation established by the apostles. To ensure its members are equipped with the purest form of God's word and are safeguarded from erroneous teachings and positions that may arise in contemporary times, the church espouses the following beliefs.

የሁለቱም የብሉይ እና የአዲስ ኪዳን ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍት የእግዚአብሔር ቃል እንደሆኑ እናምናለን እናም ምንጩም እራሱ እግዚአብሔር ነው እናም ፍጹም የማይሳሳቱ ፣ በእምነት እና በህይወት ውስጥ የበላይ እና የመጨረሻው ባለስልጣን ናቸው። 

(2ኛ ጴጥሮስ 1፡21 እና 2ኛ ጢሞቴዎስ 3፡16 ፣ ሮሜ 15፡4 እና 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 10፡11)። 

We believe in the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments as being the verbally inspired Word of God, and completely inerrant in the original writings and of Supreme and final authority in faith and life.

(II Peter 1:21 and II Timothy 3:16, Romans 15:4 and I Corinthians 10:11).

በሦስት አካልነት ለዘላለም በሚኖር በሥላሴ ማለተም ፦ በአብ፣ በወልድ እና በመንፈስ ቅዱስ እናምናለን ። 

(2ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 13፡14)

We believe in the triune God eternally existing in three persons: FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT. (Matthew 20:19-20 and II Corinthians 13:14.)

1. ሁሉን ቻይና ዘላለማዊ በሆነው፣ የሚታዩትንና የማይታዩትን ነገሮች ሁሉ በፈጠረ በእግዚአብሔር አብ እናምናለን (ዘፍ 1፡1-2፡7፤ 1ጢሞ. 1፡17)። 
2. ከድንግል ማርያም በተወለደ ፍፁም አምላክ ፍጹም ሰው የሆነው በእግዚአብሔር ልጅ በጌታ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እናምናለን ስለ ኃጢአታችን በመስቀል ላይ ተሰቃይቶ ሞተ፣ ተቀበረ፣ ከሙታን ተለይቶ ተነሣ፣ ለሰው ተገለጠ፣ ወደ ሰማይ ዐረገ። በኃይልና ክብር ተመልሶ ይመጣል። (ማቴዎስ 16፡16፣ ዮሐ 5፡20፣ ማቴዎስ 1፡23፣ 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 15፡3-7 እና የሐዋ 1፥9-11 ማቴዎስ 24:30).
3. በአጽናኙ ፤ የጥንት ነቢያትን እና ሐዋርያትን ባነሳሳ፤ ቤተ ክርስቲያንን ለማነጽ ምእመናን ሊጠቀሙባቸው የሚገቡ መንፈሳዊ ሥጦታዎችን፣ እና ኃይልን በሚሰጥ እና በሚያከፋፍል፤ ስለ ኃጢአትም ስለ ጽድቅም ስለ ፍርድም ዓለምን በሚወቅስ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ እናምናለን። (ዮሐንስ 14፡ 26፤ 2ኛ ጴጥሮስ 1፡21፤ ሥራ 1፡8፤ 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 12፡4-11፤ ኤፌሶን 4፡ 11-12፤ ዮሐንስ 16፡8)።

1. We believe in God the Father, Almighty and eternal, creator of all things, both visible and invisible (Genesis 1:1-2:7; I Corinthians 6:18, I Timothy 1:17).
2. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man, suffered and died for our sins on the cross, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, appeared to men, ascended into heaven and will be back with Power and glory. (Matthew 16:16, John 5:20, Matthew 1:23, I Corinthians 15:3-7 and Acts 1:9-11, Matthew 24:30.)
3. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who inspired the prophets and apostles of old; who indwells, empowers and distributes spiritual gifts to be exercised by the believers for spiritual edification of the church; and who convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 14:26; II Peter 1:21; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4: 11-12; John 16:8).

 በመጀመርያ ሰው ያለ ኃጢአት እንደተፈጠረ እናምናለን።ነገር ግን በፈቃዱ መተላለፍ እንደወደቀ እና ከዚህም የተነሳ የሰው ዘር ሁሉ ሲወለድ ኃጢአተኛ  ሆነ ። ቢሆንም  ከኃጢአታቸው ንስሐ የሚገቡ እና በእምነት  ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን እንደ ግል ጌታ እና አዳኝ አድርገው የተቀበሉ ሁሉ ከመንፈስ ቅዱስ ዳግመኛ ተወልደው የእግዚአብሔር ልጆች እንዲሆኑ  እናምናለን። 

(ዘፍጥረት 1፡26-31፤ ሮሜ 5፡12-19፤ ሮሜ 6፡23-34 ሮሜ 10፡9-10፣ ዮሃንስ 1፡12-13፣ 3፡1-16)።

We believe that man was created without sin; that by voluntary transgression fell, and therefore all human beings are born with a sinful nature; and that all who repent of their sin and personally accept Jesus Christ as his/ her Lord and Savior are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

 (Genesis 1:26-31; Romans 5:12-19; Romans 6:23-34, Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12-13, 3:1-16).

የውሃ ጥምቀት ስርዓት በእውነት ንስሃ ለገቡ እና በልባቸው ክርስቶስን እንደ ግል አዳኝ እና ጌታ በእውነት ባመኑ ሁሉ መሰጠት እንዳለበት እናምናለን። ይህንን በመፈጸም ከኢየሱስ ጋር እንደሞቱና በአዲስ ሕይወት ለመመላለስ ከእርሱ ጋር መነሳታቸውን ለዓለም ይናገራሉ።  

(ማቴዎስ 28:19-20፤ ማር 16:16፤ የሐዋርያት ሥራ 10:47-48፤  ሮሜ 6 ፡1-4።)

We believe that the ordinance of water baptism should be observed by all who have really repented and in their hearts they truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness live.

(Matthew 28:19-30; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:1-4).

ጌታ እራት፡ የእንጀራ እና የወይኑ ፍሬ  የያዘ ሲሆን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ መለኮታዊ ተፈጥሮ ውስጥ ያለን ተሳትፎ ምሳሌያዊ መገለጫ ነው ብለን እናምናለን።የእርሱ መከራ እና ሞት መታሰቢያ፣ የመምጣቱም ትንቢት፣ እናም “እስኪመጣ ድረስ” ሁሉም አማኞች ሊጋሩት የሚገባ ስርአት ነው።

(2ኛ ጴጥሮስ 1፡4፤ 1ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 11፡23-26)።

We believe that the Lord's’ Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ; a memorial of His suffering and death; and a prophecy of His coming; and is enjoined on all believers “until He Comes” 

(II Peter 1:4; I Corinthians 11:23-26).

ክርስቲያኖች የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል እንዲታዘዙና የተቀደሰ ሕይወት እንዲኖራቸው፣ መንፈሳዊ ፍሬ እንዲያፈሩና ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስን እንዲያከብሩ እንደተጠሩ እናምናለን። እንደ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ አስተምህሮ መሰረት ቤተ-ክርስቲያናችን የጋብቻን  ስረዓት የምትፈቅደው እና የምታደርገው በተፈጥሮ በአንድ ወንድ እና በአንዲት ሴት መካከል  ብቻ  የሚፈጸም  እንደሆነ ታምናለች። በዚህ መሰረት ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን የምታጋባቸው ደግሞ  በጌታ የሆኑ አማኞችን ሲሆን በተጨማሪም  ከጋብቻ በፊት አብሮ መኖርን(ሳይጋቡ የግብረ ስጋ ግንኙነት መፈጸምን) አትቀበልም።

We believe that Christians are called to obey God’s Word and live a holy life, bear spiritual fruit and glorify Jesus Christ. As per the Bible's teachings, our church permits and conducts marriage only between a biological male and a female. Furthermore, our church only marries those who are believers in the Lord,our church completely prohibits living together before marriage (engaging in sexual relations without being married). 

(James 1:22-25; Luke 8:15; II Timothy 2:9; Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15-16; Galatians 5:22-24; I John 2:6፣ Hebrews 13:4).

በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አምነው ጌታን እያመልኩ ያንቀላፉ ሁሉ እና  እርሱ ሲመጣ በሕይወት ያሉቱ  መለከቱ ሲነፋ ሁሉም  ድንገት በቅጽበት ዓይን እንደሚለውጥ እናምናለን። በተጨማሪም ሙታንም የማይበሰብሱ ሆነው ይነሳሉ እኛም እንለወጣለን ብለን እናምናለን።  ጌታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ መንግሥቱን ለመመሥረት ዳግመኛ እንደሚመጣ እናምናለን። ሙታንን ያስነሣል በሰውም ሁሉ ላይ ይፈርዳል ክፉዎች ከእግዚአብሔር ፊት ይለያሉ ጻድቃን ግን ከእርሱ ጋር ለዘላለም ይኖራሉ::

(ራዕይ 20፡1-7፤ ራእይ 19፡11-14፤ ዮሐንስ 3፡16፤ ማቴዎስ 25) 31-46፤ 1ኛ ተሰ 4:13-18 1ኛ ቆሮ 15:51-53 ራእይ 20፡10-15)።

We believe that all those who believe in Jesus Christ and are asleep worshiping the Lord, and those who are alive when He comes, when the trumpet is blown, we will all suddenly be changed in the blink of an eye.We also believe that the dead will be raised incorruptible and we will be changed.We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will come again to establish His Kingdom. He will raise the dead and judge all human beings, the wicked shall be separated from God’s presence, but the righteous shall live with Him forever.
